great base for exploring local landmarks and parks

During my recent stay, I appreciated the hotel’s proximity to the scenic Settle Riverside Walk, which is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and the nearby Folly Museum, where I enjoyed exploring the history of the area. the room was also comfortable, making it a lovely spot for a weekend getaway.

Excellent hotel with free parking, a great bar area, and friendly staff who helped me find my lost car keys. The service is always excellent. I’m coming back for a city trip!

Had an awesome time with friends! We went mountain biking and enjoyed some nice walks in the stunning countryside. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was hearty and the evening meals were really tasty. Perfect spot for groups and outdoor activities. Highly recommend it!

The only downside was the road noise at night, which was a bit disruptive. It might not be great for light sleepers.

We had a fantastic two-night stay, enjoying the delightful locally sourced meals and a cozy twin room with plush towels. Relaxing on the sun terrace and in the garden area was a nice touch. The only minor issue was that the bed felt a bit soft for our liking, but we still had a great time! 😊

we stayed here for 3 nights and it was sooo good. the food was amazin, especially breakfast, and the staff were super friendly n helpful. our large double room was comfy, clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. the location is fab too, right by the train station, so easy to get around. definitely feels like a well-run place with high standards!

the shower was a bit cramped and the mattress was kinda lumpy, not as comfy as we hoped.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy spot! The kids enjoyed the playground while we relaxed on the terrace. The staff was wonderful, accommodating all our requests promptly. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and our dining experience was top-notch, too!

My kids wished for more activities, like nature trails or kids' clubs to keep them entertained.

Great food, so-so beds

The stay was a bit mixed. The staff were super friendly and the meals were absolutely delicious—totally worth it! the mattress felt worn out and lumpy. Plus, the shower setup made it tricky to get in and out, especially if you’re on the larger side. Still, enjoying dinner here was the highlight!

The Craven Arms offers a welcoming atmosphere with impressively friendly staff who are eager to assist. The food was outstanding, especially the evening meals which featured high-quality local ingredients. The location is also a major plus, being conveniently close to Giggleswick train station and other local attractions, making it ideal for business needs.

The bedding in my room was uncomfortable, making sleep difficult.

Comfortable room, excellent food, with a superb meal that included a gorgeous beef Wellington and a delicious breakfast with tasty kippers, complemented by friendly staff and convenient services like free parking and wi-fi.

i had a fabulous stay at the craven arms! the staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. the food was outstanding, particularly the lamb roast dinner, which was one of the best i've ever had. the location is perfect with easy access to beautiful areas like the lakes.

The Craven Arms in Settle offered a great base for our Three Peaks challenge. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome right from the start. Breakfast was perfect for our early morning hikes, really appreciated the packed breakfast they provided. After a long day in the hills, the hearty meal at the bar felt like a warm hug. The room was cozy and met our needs well, although the bed was a bit tight for two tall guys. Some noise from the main road was noticeable but not too disruptive. The decor was basic but inviting, setting a comfy atmosphere for relaxing after our adventures. Would love to come back, especially for the delicious food and the attentive service.

Decent option for a lightning stop in Settle with high value for money. The food was good, especially the Sunday lunch. Make sure to check if you need to book ahead for meals.
